Industrial Hygienists

RGA has four levels of Industrial Hygienists ranging from entry level through Consulting Industrial Hygienists. We prefer candidates to have a four-year college degree in a science or environmental compliance field and up to five years experience. Diverse experience in the following areas is a plus: hazardous materials surveys including asbestos and lead; contractor monitoring and oversight; water intrusion investigations; indoor air quality; mold assessments; industrial hygiene; exposure monitoring; Phase I and II’s; safety and OSHA compliance audits; and safety training.

Responsibilities primarily include technical activities related to projects, including field work, data and sample collections, sample preparation and laboratory submittal, document research, contractor oversight and office work including preparation of draft proposals and reports. Each level requires additional depth and breadth of knowledge, experience and education.

Project Manager/Senior Project Manager

This position requires a four-year college degree in a science, engineering, or environmental compliance field and seven or more years of experience performing health/safety, environmental or industrial hygiene projects. Responsibilities include managing projects from initiation to completion which includes budgets; schedules; risk; quality; technical aspects; and coordination with client, staff, and contractors; providing technical guidance to associates on applicable regulations, industry standard practices, and company procedures; analyzing field and laboratory data and developing recommendations; preparing cost estimates, technical proposals and reports; providing senior review of deliverables; supporting sales and marketing efforts; financial control of projects; managing client accounts and daily operations; and supervision and management of lower level staff. Sr. Project Managers typically have either a CIH, CSP, PE or PG certification or have responsibility for managing a geographic region of the company.

After 90 days of full-time employment, you and your dependents will be eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance. RGA covers 75% of the monthly payment for your entire family. In most states you will have the choice of several plans including PPO’s and HMO’s. Disability insurance is employer paid and additional life and disability plans can be purchased by employees.

RGA provides five days of accrued paid sick leave per year. You can accrue up to twenty days of sick leave.

We offer two weeks company-paid vacation per year in your first year with the Company, eight paid holidays; three days of Personal Time Off (PTO); Family Leave; bereavement leave; alternative work schedules and other time off programs.

All eligible employees receive a minimum 3% 401K contribution to their account annually. Most employees receive additional contributions to profit sharing programs as well as additional cash bonuses.
